The new kits have been unveiled at the end of last, and if you thought last season's was strangely lacking in both tradition and style, then this one might cause some more severe reactions.

Personally, the home kit is **** awful. The shorts... wtf. someone needs to pay for approving that. The logo is once again too large, and even though the thin middle strip has been replaced by the more traditional larger red stripe, the hideous black-blue remains in the place of a lighter royal/deep blue.
the away kit is better but still suffers with that fat logo taking up too much space.

The away kit looks sharp but the home kit is basically last years, but worse!
And what's up with the home shorts, are we trying to blind our oppenents???

Horrifying. Last kit I liked was back around 2000 or so when we had royal blue with the traditional red stripe & navy side panels. Now that was classy. This, on the other hand, less said the better. Maybe we'll play better to make up for how awful we look, who knows.

The shorts in the home kit are horrendous.

Exactly, might not be so bad with blue shorts

The 'Fly Emirates' on the Arsenal kit is the same size, so I'm not particularly surprised it's so large.
I'm with everyone else - red shorts? At least they've scraped the brown kits from last year.

yup, I don't mind the jerseys, it's the red shorts that ruin it all

It looks like a cheesy superhero outfit. OM is awful too.
What is going on in Ligue 1 with bad kits??

I saw the shirt and the pair of shorts in a store.
The red was not also lively as on photos.
On the collar of the shirt is registered "Ici c'est Paris"
There are drawings as the tribal tattoos on the red strip of the shirt.
The kit was rather attractive.
Furthermore historically the PSG played with a red pair of shorts until 86

The home kit wouldn't be too bad if the logo didn't interrupt the stripe going down. I like how they brought back the white away kit though.

Well, changing the colour of those shorts is not exactly the most difficult thing to do during the course of the season. Petition anyone ? ;)
Anyway, no need to buy a fox in the box striker, nobody can walk unnoticed with those ! :D

The more I look at this pic, the more I think that if I wore this (even to a game) people would think I should be on the short bus.

well i hope hypolithe is correct (maybe a little camera phone shot would help convince everyone!)
here's the away kit in action, the young Loris Arnaud in this shot.

also i compiled this in my sparetime (file size quite large, please give it time to load) - the home colors should be closer to this than the shot in the very first post:

dare i say it doesn't look that bad? still pretty garish though
and as hypolithe mentioned, they have "tribal designs" on the red band. why? someone people tell me because it's extravagant and useless.

You can see on this picture the "tribal design" of the red stripe :

I've got a question:
The Jersey sold on psg.fr has a red collar. The PSG jersey sold here at BigSoccer as well as everyplace else I can find on the internet has a white collar. What gives? Replica vs Authentic?

Basically after releasing pictures of the shirt with the white collar, but before it was in stores, they changed the design to a red collar.
So I assume that no matter where you buy it from the shirt will have a red collar.

Can anyone tell me where I can get an official jersey with the players name, all the sponsor patches and the league patches? The jerseys from psg.fr do not have all the sponsors on them, Subside only sells a Pauleta Jersey (Yawn), and BS doesn't have the correct ability to duplicate the font on the back.
Any ideas?
Also, is it sacrilege to wear a jersey from another league (IE a Werder Bremen or Young Boys jersey)?
