FA Cup draw at 10.15 tomorrow folks. Going to be a bit of a mammoth as a record 731 will be taking part this season, up from 687 last season, which was a record in itself.

The draws for the Extra Preliminary Round, Preliminary Round and the 1st Qualifying Round will all be made tomorrow and will be completed at some point before the end of the week.

It's far from the biggest tournament in sports. The Coupe de France has 6734 entrants this season. It's like the FA Cup without ground requirements; unlike England you don't need a proper ground and floodlights, clubs can just play on a roped off pitch, I guess. And these days, the Coupe does have a much bigger flair for the dramatic, at least in the later rounds. In the last nine years, there have been three Ligue 2 finalists and one CFA (level 3) finalist.

Seen a couple of games in the competition this year already and will probably try and make something in the next round too. Looking forward to the 4th qualifying round though, hoping for a decent draw.
