I'm a new Midnight Rider and was in the Fort for the 1st time for the game against the crew, and i saw the phenomenom that was the sheep.
I'm confused, what's the story with the sheep?

Not fair at all, but funny :D
Some people are more impatient than others (read: me) but...
Try reading the other "sheep" threads, rather than creating new threads before you even try to learn on your own.

Ok the story with the sheep...is no one really knows. Somebody just brought a inflatable sheep and put a Dempsey jersey on it. The thing got bounced around the Fort like it was a beachball...and a tradition was born.
Welcome to the Fort, RevsFan44.
I apologize for the crankiness shown by others in this thread. Some of us have yet to become inured to the annual phenomenon known as the Rev's summer slump.
Nothing to add on the sheep. :)

I don't mind the sheep, but I don't really see the point of it. I understand that at baseball games, those things are boring, so a beachball is much more entertaining.
Anyway, I was a little annoyed by the "Sheep, Sheep" chant last home game while Riley was on the ground in pain.

The Inflatable Sheep Doll is about the size of a medium-sized dog. It has a hole in the back of it. It is worth every cent of the (reasonable) shipping cost to not have to ask for it at a party store. Think about it. That would be pretty brutal. Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty brutal.
No bachelor party is complete without the Inflatable Sheep Doll
Oh my.
