PARAGUAY to show was that they are for real, after the trashing of the colombian defense.

will the reknown BUNKER style for USA work vs the guaranies?

I like a tie- 1-1, but long range shots can change that.
future of paraguayan futbol, to shine tomorrow: Cardozo

I love it how the Spazzos compare this game to beating our unknowns in a friendly at home

They seem to do the same with Colombia

I think only Spazzos care about friendlies

I don't see how Bradley can expect to bunker with any sucess i this game, we pretty much need 4 point from the nest 2 games, and the sooner we get 3 the better.

they have done 7 times before, 2 or 4 with good results vs archirival mex, why not tomorrow?

It works, it fits every player physical condition, is lethal at the end of both periods.

Similar to teh Gold Cup I think Bradley is gonna use a totally different first 11 for the second match. Given the roster we brought in I expect to see a lot of younger players this game then the first. I think Sascha, Nguyen and Davies will start this match, should be interesting to see whether or not they can hang.

I don't think they will....and I think you exaggerate their use of bunkering in the past. They pretty much had against Argentina, because how do you expect them to compete with Crespo, Messi, Riquelme, etc in a back and forth game.

I think they'll have a fair amount of possession but I have a feeling you'll criticize them no matter what they try. :D

Do us a favor and further humiliat the pieces of shit.

A funny thing happened after the loss to Argentina, ESPN did not cover the reaming the NADS received on Sportscenter or ESPN News for that matter.

Nery's goal on the other hand was ranked one of the best plays of the day, the day before.

A funny thing happened this year, Mexico lost to the USA twice. Did you see that epic goal we scored in Chicago, it was world class. We will do fine tomorrow.

Theres a reason the word "spazzo" is only used to describe one group of fans on this message board. If you look at their forums, some of them equate a 4-1 loss to Argentina to a win over Paraguay and Colombia in some odd logic less train of thought. Its the whole World Cup 2006 syndrome all over again, if you recall their forum was full of spazzos that thought they would win against Ghana with little trouble and we all now how that happened. They seem to ignore that Paraguay is probably the third best team in South America with lots of talented players. Oh well, theyll find that out tonight. The American bunker will come out, thats how they play. Its up to Paraguay to play calm and not let the Nads tactic dishearten them.

The US did not bunker against Argentina. They just couldn't get a hold of the damn ball.

Paraguay played 8 defenders against columbia. I hope they don't do that against US, or that entire team needs to stand against a wall and get shot...

If they do that again (which is quite likely since they have a huge GD and group B will most likely produce a 3rd place team with 4 points and less GD),
US is going to have a hard time getting 3 points...

Play physical!
when you play physical you can create chaotic situations and unexpected results (italy losing left wingback in WC that rendered their entire left wing ineffective for example). but of course, play smart and careful while playing physical.

Well it looks like the US will play with 8 defenders. The midfield is made up four defensive midfielders, with ZERO playmakers or wingers. This match should be very boring, it looks like the US is going trying to keep the score decent and not necessarily try to win.
