Andrew Jennings, for his seminal work Foul!!: The Secret World of FIFA: Bribes, Vote Rigging and Ticket Scandals (http://www.harpercollins.co.uk/subjects/default.aspx?subject=sport&articleID=7139)
You claim to care about football and you haven't read this?
Seriously, is it significant at all that this year’s Fans’ Parliament (which was held June 9th in Crewe, and which serves as the Football Supporters’ Federation’s annual general meeting, where policy for the following 12 months is decided) chose this book, from all the football books written every year?
It's the book FIFA tried (and failed, utterly) to ban. Why did they try?
If you havent' read this, you're nothin'. BigSoccer.com is diminished every day we lack a thread on the discussion of the ramifications of the revelations in this book, and resultant method to challenge such Manichean (maniacal?) behaviour from the "men" of football governance.
