Anybody here think he's good enough to play for Ireland? I think he is as he can do real damage when he's on form. Maybe if he does well in the Premiership he can force his way into Brian Kerr's plans.

In the past, Kennedy has helped a club get to the premiership only to be benched or released. Let's hope he gets the chance this time.

Kennedy does play for Ireland. Just not first choice basically due to Damien Duff.
Kennedy has always been one of my favourite Wolves players. I was estatic the day we signed him.

He actually doesn't play for Ireland that often anymore, even as a sub. I've watched a lot of Ireland matches and he hasn't been playing for them lately. He does have 4 goals for Ireland though.

He should be in the first XI. If we do get a midfielder. He should either be a defensive midfielder or a central midfielder. Kennedy is terrific on the flanks.

Defensive midfielder? Kennedy is an attacking midfielder.

When I said 'he,' I meant any midfielder that Wolves acquire during the offseason.

Not quite... Ireland (stupidly) decide to play Duffer up front, and Kil-sh!tty-bane on the left... Kennedy just can't get it done internationally, and struggles in the Premiership
