The pressure is on Uruguay, we're expected to lose, we were expected to be last in the whole tournament. Uruguay is the one who is on the verge of choking. Let's see what our guys do, hopefully we kick 'em when they're down. I have a feeling that Galarzas lack of quality and stupid mistakes will play out in this game.

Perdiendo o ganando Bolivia siempre yo te amo

I was going to watch this at home but I'm off to a local bar to watch with some friends. You guys at home keep this thread rolling and try and play nice. :D

I'll be back to do my moderating duties after the game.

Damn it! I went to delaware today, but I brought my laptop to get updated. I just logged on a few minutes ago.

Updates would greatly be appreciated!

It is a tie, bolivia has had many great touches but i believe only 1 shot on goal. Right now the touch and chances so far between uruguay and bolivia have been equal, so have the chances. But we have an advantage, it seems the ref is on our side. Hehehe.

I got you maddog will the first half is over its 0-0
Bolivia played okay 4-4-2, we had two good playes no clear shots or clear plays on goal. The best has been the mid except for reyes who gave like 3 JMP was also unusally not accurate he gave two balls the last one almost ended in a gol for uruguay nacho got injured but sacha his sub has been playing good. overall good defesive game its based on who is going to make the first mistake.

Bolivia is playing slightly better than Uruguay. Bolivia is touching well, Moreno is very active but still the attacks haven't been deep. A lot of fouls from Uruguay... in part thanks to Moreno's mobility. Bolivia needs to take more chances if they wanna win the game, because Uruguay is erratic.

It's been a long time since I've seen Bolivia play and I like what I see. Not the same level of talent as in '94 but the team has coherence and good balance.

I'm puzzled by the defense. The more famous the player the more they suck. The great Peņa has sucked today.

So far it's gone good for us. We're keeping control of the ball and Uruguay can't believe that they have to counterstrike in order to reach our goal. It seems to really tick them off. I hope it stays that way the second half because Galarza seems better in counterstrikes than in controlling the area. Speedy but small.

Im sorry guys......I did not see Bolivia better at all.....perhaps because of the wet field which did not allow for a good "raz del piso" game......anyway, Uruguay had us where they wanted for the most part....at the end we did attack much more but it is only because Uruguay was waiting for the end of the game. Their goal was a bs goal but our defense keeps allowing bs goals. And Joselito.....he has skill....unfortunately he is too small.......these international games require Baldivieso-type physiques.......oh well.......Mathematically it is still possible. Ever heard that before?

Ok that goal was BS, but it happened. We have to get over that. The reason? The god dman keeper. Hes crap. He should have dropped right there and recieved a good ball or kick to the face = no goal.

I'd rather have a tad bit older then galarza, Gato Fernandez who apparently was doing pretty good in chile last i checked. My old man told me his dad was a keeper for strongest back in the day, and wasnt bad. Well his son sucks and i dont know how he made the NT.

Our D was straight. Our Midfield Ok, only thing that lacked, was after the goal we lost our confidence and pace. Before that goal we were right with uruguay, but then after it seems that they were 2 steps ahead of us, almost like we were playing in slow motion. Moreno completely was outta the game after that, no one was showing up for the ball up front, bad movement by arce when intercepting passes, no one showing thus having to possess the ball too long which resulted in losses of possesion. Only chance we had was in the last 2 minutes, with that shot that resulted in I forget who it was but #8 crashing the keeper off a rebound trying to get it in, almost very similar to how uruguay scored..

Im royally pissed right now, I hate this.

But bolivia needs to beat peru and hopefully peru beats venezuela, and uruguay ties the home team....venezuela which will result in us, winning over uruguay on a goal differential.

If god is great, this will happen... if not its time to convert to good ol' islam.

Thanks guys!

I was trying to use Univision, but the feed never came through. After that, my computer was just super slow.

Im not happy, but I expected for this to be a close game. Uruguay did the traditional counter. Ugly, but it works. As always, Bolivia has dominated the ball from Uruguay, but it's pretty aparent they do that so they deal with less defenders when they counter. Italian style type soccer. I don't know if Bolivia kept most of the possesion, but lets hope for better things against Peru.

VIVA BOLIVIA!
