I am so ready for this game.

What I'd like to see from Argentina is a quick transition into attack. The problem we often have is that the team holds the ball too long, they are overly patient. With both Riquelme and Veron playing, I hope they don't just move the ball back and forth. They need to overwhelm this young US team from the beggining, go for the jugular. We have to go at them on the ground, up the middle and up the wings. That is why I wish Tevez was starting.

I think the US will be smart to stay back, compress their midfield to disrupt our buildup, and counterpunch quickly. If our defenders push up, they could catch us off-balance. I am not sure how much speed they have up the middle, but that is their best bet.

But the talent disparity is too much. I don't see a way that we don't win.

Biggest speed threat the US has is Eddie Johnson upfront. The kid can flat out fly. His biggest problem is he likes the offsides flag a ton. Twellman shouldn't be able to out savy our defenders. As for Benny Feihlhaber and Ricardo Clark, both are quick and solid players but Clark may be in way over his head against this midfield. Feilhaber is a really promising young player. He could be the future of the US midfield for a while to come.

As a side, what channel is everyone watching this game on? None of my local Univision channels are airing it:eek: Fortunately Univision.com is streaming the game live:D Good luck to everyone tonight including the US.

try telefutura. im using univision.com for the par-col game and great news no sounds as i dont have speakers at work, but if you have the other latin channels they should work, goltv also has it but the announcers are probably horrible.+

ok i got beat

Good call on the television I never would have thought of that:rolleyes: Really though thanks, TimeWarner doesn't offer GolTv in this area and Telefutura in Austin doesn't have the Para/Col game on. Were both games supposed to be televised?

Argentina is playing like absolute shat right now, Riquelme doesn't do absolutely nothing, not even comes down to help, Messi totally dissapeared, Gabi milito I'm not even going to describe what a f...ing idiot he is, hopefully they can take off the prima dona dress off and seriously start running and making an effort otherwise. I think they totally underestimated the US, big mistake. Hopefully in the second half Coco can come out with a different strategy because another 45 minutes of this boring display will earn the worst match of copa america so far.

Must be nice to have a team like Argentina and consider their first half play "Shite". If only we were so lucky.
