its seems under him and before the LA fiasco , with Pando at the LCM we had a team that could score on any one at any moment...
he was fearless , athletic , incredible strong dribbler best in the CA, had a strong fast shot, but once Sampson ruined him , playing him out of position , Pando was a different player. Guatemala became different
But Now that he is Back in Guatemala, and has been in Incredible Form for the last 2 year, Scoring consistently ,happy, and nice dribbling, Should bolillo reconsider , reconcile with him and pando reconcile with the rest of the NT.. and bring back the beauty Guatemala had with pando running the mid??

I've always been a fan of Pando.
His erratic shots are what piss people off about him. But he's always been great at controlling possession and is an excellent distributer.
What happened in L.A. was a nightmare, Sampson had no idea how to use him, and even then I think that Pando was way more effective than what people give him credit for.
I thought I read somewhere here on B.S. that he doesn't get along with the coach "Bollio" Gomez?
Either way, it's been a long fall for the former national team captain that was once trialling with Premiership clubs and now can't get on the national team :(
I say, bring him back!

funny how back in 2005 he was on the rise to be big,
remember when he took on Real Madrid , fearlessly in a friendly with LA.
He is certaintly to best attacking Central option we have now, and think he has one more WCQ in him, he deserves a WC, i remember when he was there in the Historic Draw vs Brazil in the 97 gold cup as a 17 year old
.balled in Greece top flight, Mexico, then the MLS
He should be one of the players with one more WCQ campaign in him
he is the most talented offensive player we have, and i think 2010 should be his last hoorah
Imagine in 2014 how many players will be gone, and there going to need a guy like pando showing them the grit it will take to make it to the WC
in a perfect world, i see this team playing in the 2010 Wc finals

funny how in 2004 how fast we will be, our only slow play is big ole Flores..

The times i seen him play, he was good. I'd say bring him back, hes way better than alot of the players in the mid for Guate.

that i can agree with . although i can see cats like Avila reach higher places the pando, with the right Representation , but as far as getting results and pure dribbling skills pando is the man.
i remember his 2 games versus tt with and without behakker
he was so composed and gave them trouble. versus panama in the 2004 Uncaf torneo de clubes he lead and scored the winning goal for Municipal to win it all
he scored 8 goals and few setups in the mid this clausura , we will see what occurs next season , if a change of attitude occurs , a new desire to help the national team in the upcoming fifa dates score and convince, then we will see if he enters the winter conditioning session in the 2008 window.

I'd defanetly agree with that. Avila will be the next big thing for Guatemala, he is good at everything he does. His speed and acceleration, especially with the ball is really good. One problem for me, that maybe Avila should look into is his strength he is pretty tall, but alll bone. He needs to thicken up, similar to Suazo's body type. And getting stronger he could do in 6 months, then he would find his way to a better league fast.

hahah yeah he's a skeleton
if he ate a bit, throw a few pounds of muscle, keep scoring at the pace he did in the clausura and played well in the U-23 Olympic tournament
i can see avila go some where like Suazo did, i think his improvement needs to be his strength and balance, his service on the wing and heading in the box is good, his foot speed and acceleration is natural. he will hit his groove internationally soon, with a Uncaf torneo de clubes .
i think Municipal will elevate his natural abilities , i think him playing in the Bejing games is the only way a club in europe take the step at getting him from Municipal for a good price

well he is making a strong case to be called up this August, 3 goals in 3 consecutive games after 3 games of the season have passed as a attacking central mid, his touch and awareness in the final 3rd is making him this season most dangerous player, plus he scored his 100th
League goal
whats bolillo thinking?
would he be stupid to deny , how well in form and focused pando is right now or will pando cause problems in the locker room and destroy the work being done by Bolillo?
my thinking is that most of pando teammates are on the nt, so he will already gel well, but can he lead and get along with Gomez?

Sometimes the coach just has to take the risk, and he would be immature not to call up Pando. I believe if he comes back Guatemala will play with more confidence. Especially in the midd. Just knowing they have a versatile experienced guy there will make the other guys feel more at ease.

here is Pando celebrating his 100th league goal last sunday , he then take of his jersey and shows a custom made shirt with a screen print of himself saying" reggae boys"
still 28 or 29 , then man bring a presence that scared other teams back during the 2006 wcq

I think he did a great job during the early WCQ's but then when he went to the MLS and had that slump, he played the last few games in the hexagonal like crap.
I think if he got a shot back on the NT he'd have to be the player he was in the early WCQ's to have Bolillo let him take over the midfield.

He has his place on the national team. As long as he wants to be a TEAM member and not ball hog. He is being given a lesson in humility by Bolillo and if he humbles himself he will be back other than that he is not welcome. Its about time that a Head Coach demands respect and integrity to the team. So as long as he stops his drinking and partying he is welcome.
