Although i do think Alan is a capeable manager,he does seem to manage with his blinkers on,the league today is a very european one ,players from all over competing , mainly at the top clubs,curbs seems to look at his past,im not sure trainers from southampton,what does he kow about top players,or english players who have played for him in the past,are going to get us to the next level

I disagree completely. Some of the better coaches have operated their whole careers in the lower leagues. Football is massive business now a manager needs an assistant, a first team coach etc etc. I have several coaching video's where they use top players. The coach who's name escapes me was manager of Carlisle. John Gorman, Pat Rice, Chris Hughton, Glenn Roeder and some may say Steve McClaren were/are excellent coaches but never successful managers.
