despues de ver el partido venezuela contra bolivia diria que venezuela no tiene porque ganarnos... venezuela tiene este pata que se llama Maldonado... juega bien pero yo creo que peru tiene mas calidad ... si juegan concetrados.. ellos mismos saben que tienen que mantener los pies en la tierra y que por aver ganado de esa manera contra uruguay los demas equipos van a poner lo mejor de su parte contra peru ahora.

(RPP) El seleccionador de fútbol de Perú, Julio César Uribe, señaló que con la victoria frente a Uruguay por 3-0 en la inauguración de la Copa América se cumplió el primer objetivo, y ahora es momento de pensar en el siguiente: vencer al anfitrión Venezuela para cambiar la historia del balompié peruano.

Desde Mérida, Uribe dijo que es momento del equilibrio, la serenidad y tranquilidad para afrontar con éxito el partido ante los locales este sábado.

Preguntado si repetirá el mismo planteamiento ante la vinotinto, Uribe dijo: “no hay dos partidos iguales, analizaremos a Venezuela”, y luego agregó: “Hemos dado el primer paso, faltan otros que serán mas duros”.

El seleccionador nacional elogió el trabajo esforzado y solidario de sus dirigidos, destacando que hay un grupo unido que lucha con alegría y “ganas terribles” para cambiar la historia de nuestro fútbol en la Copa América Venezuela 2007.

I know there is another thread about this but i didnt like the tittle "otra goleada" so i made this one. i really think venezuela is going to be tougher than uruguay cause they are pressured to win in their country, just like any national team that organizes a copa america. i think peru is going to come out with the same people and get mariño in at the second half.
