The only mexican annoucers that are decent are a pair that I've heard on Fox en espanol.Their names escape me. The rest, like de la Torre are complete crap. Incidently, most mexican soccer fans that I talk to feel the same towards de la Torre.

Yeah, I just hit SAP for spanish and it's still in english. That's a first for Goltv, usually all their matches as both in English and Spanish.

About the mexican announcers, that's part of the bias Univision has in the American Market. They want to appeal to mexicans only.

Secondly, GolTV does not have the rights to broadcast the Copa America in Spanish. Univision has the rights........That's the reason there are no Spanish broadcasters.

GOLTV has Spanish announcers that are better than the Telefutura announcers. All you have to do is change your SAP setting on your TV to Spanish.

not working on my end. Maybe they bought the english rights only knowing everyone will be watching telefutura since its available in most large American cities for people without cable. And gol tv isnt. The Feed on goal tv is way way better. you can really hear the crowd. and the announing isnt all that bad. sorry i just re-read the thread univision has the rights.

Yeah, I just fixed my post when I noticed that it wasn't working.

I would normally pick a Spanish broadcast over an English one, but 10 minutes into the Peru-Uruguay game were enough to make up my mind.

It is not only that those incompetents at Univision/Telefutura are just plain annoying. It is also the fact that they don't do any research on the players or the game itself.
They just kept talking about the great Peruvian teams of the 70s-80s, didn't even bother to find out who these kids who got a quality win tonight were.
Quite the opposite at GolTV, they did their homework. I'm switching for the whole tournament.

Yup, I love how they become "experts" on any team by mentioning their greats form the past, like when Brazil is playing they go "¿te acuerdas de Pele?" or maradona with Argentina, or Valderrama with Colombia, and that's all they talk about. :D

I swear, the Univision announcers are payed for every "Azo" that idiot adds on at the end of each Goal scream.

at 100 bucks a pop, that man is making some serious money. Today they scored 7 goals for him to shout out; imagine the AZO potential!

Still... he sure is a huevonAZO AZO AZO. :D

I couldn't believe it when Jesus Bracamontes wasn't sure about Claudio Pizarro's name.....he called him Pizano....on goltv you could tell those guys did their research

And they were arguing on how to pronounce Galliquio's last name... The stupid "AZO" mexican said something like our research team has checked with "La Academia Real de Lengua Española"

I swear to f u cking God, I am not gonna make it without punching through a wall or throwing a beer bottle at my TV.

He beat the "GOLAZO"
in the World Cup when he kept on saying a portuguese player's name that means "delicious" (feminine)
"Sabroooooossaa"

The argentinian narrators are from Fox Sports en Espanol are the best
there's one of them that should be a f...ing comedian.
All game long he's saying jokes.

In one game there was a guy kept on saying things for a sponsor like this:
"Uhh my God, Smith got kicked on the leg pretty hard
did you see how fast he got up?
that's because he's been drinking POWERADE"

DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!!!!!!

Announcers in English need to add a little more excitement with that research.

I agree that the commentators of Telfutura suck but the ones from Goltv are boring. What you can try is to put your TV on mute and tune your radio to ESPN radio they have better commentators(Jorge Ramos, Hernan,...ect.) but its like 5 sec. difference from the TV broadcast. Not all Mexican commentators suck most of the good ones are in Televisa and Tv Azteca.
Also why do yall make a thread about the same shit every time. I think most of yall just like hating on Mexicans. Estan amargados.:D

Jorge Ramos can make the worst game sound great sometimes, he is great but he does go overboard with URUGUAY. UNIVISONs narrator f ing retarded.
