Bad injury last night in the U.S.'s 4-0 win over New Zealand. Johann Smith suffered a 3rd degree ankle sprain that will see him miss up to 3 months.

Smith was probably the fastest player in this tournament. And his world class speed was going to be a major problem for opponents.

Hamburg reserve Preston Zimmerman was added to the roster. But, there is no replacement for Smith's skill set on the team. Ferrari or Zizzo will probably go to the starting lineup, but they are very different players. Ferrari is a tall striker more in the Zlatan Ibrahimovic mold

Also, they will be providing VOD of every game a few hours after the game finishes.

Attendance just announced as 55,873. Most were not present for the kick-off of this match but the balance filtered in during the game.

According to what the talking heads just said that is still over 20,000 less than the record for soccer at the Big O. Poland-West Germany in the 1976 Olympic Gold Medal game was over 76,000.
