Willy Sagnol just recently said English football is a disgrace to the eye and lacks playmaking and flair and he has a good point.
Only ManU in 1999 have had succes in the CL, Spain, Italy,Germany are all ahead of England.

It's only world star? I wouldn't even have said Becks was the best player in England. Hell, he wasn't even the best player on Man U.

My country is old enough to remember the ass kicking we gave the dirty cowardly English who had their arses kicked by a mainly Irish army back across the lake....and in reality the true story is the English were murdered maimed and slaughtered, their women and children included,,,that's the truth of the matter...the treamtment of English PPL and soldiers was beatifully violent to say the least.

Dont bother wasting your effort having a debate with this lame yank clown..
the above quote is all you need to know.

Yep, the names of all those world stars in Germany goes on forever doesn't it? And don't Gernam teams just dominate the champions league?

Spain are definitely ahead of England, Italy about on a par (one good season in the CL doesn't necessarily mean their going to dominate like old), but Germany? What an idiot.

They're all jealous. English football remains the most entertaining brand in the world.

In Germany, football is hard work.
In Italy, calcio is Opera Seria.
Every Spaniard is a matador at heart,
and in France they'd rather watch a bicycle race.

In England football is still a sport. It's that simple.

So are you going to grant him that that last Champions League final was "pleasing to the eye" and full of "playmaking flair" as only Italian soccer can be?
