Most of you fellow NYC residents prolly have Time Warner Cable, and thus, no GOL TV. Will people be heading to Nevada Smith's to watch the Copa??? On another note, went there for todays game....atmosphere was unreal.

There might be a watch party at Stout. But if not, Nevada's will definately have US fans.

TimeWarner subscribers DO get Univision & Telefutura, though, so if you're not afraid of Spanish commentary, you can watchCopa America @ home.

OK
Nevada's is crap for USA games, trust me.
Floyds is a deceent bar and all, they have Boche ball court inside, but it wont touch the atmosphere we get at Stout.
If you are a big US fan and want to watch the game with outer hard core US fans there is only one destination.
STOUT.
We had the entire upstairs bar filled for USA-Mexico, sound in the bar, the staff loves us and they played We are the champions over the stereo after we won. The entire bar was singing USA songs.
Trust me on this....you want to be at Stout.

Anyone know if Galavision is on Time Warner Cable? I don't believe we have ESPN-U either. I'd like to see the Under 20 games.........

Time Warner has Galavision.
Channel 53. It is for the regular TW subscribers and it's the same for the Digital tier.

They do that at Nevadas. They have a long history of being very welcoming to USA and MLS fans. I remember the time I tried to watch the 2000 Olympics and we had one of the smallest TVs available in the bar!!! And they had SkySportsNews on every other TV, including the big one near the bathroom!!!

It was a great atmosphere even though my twelve-year-old son and I were relegated to the restaurant seating area past the far end of the bar.

September 29, 2000: I called a few days before the game to make sure that Nevada's was showing the game and when my friend and I arrived (around noon?) they said they were closed. The guy said next time call and ask for him. That and slow service in the basement viewing area are reason enough to avoid them when I can. Not kind to American fans like they are to English fans.

Have rec'd confirmation that we will be at Stout for the Argentina game.
Be there and be loud, or be somewhere else and just watch in silence.
