Dont you think is is a limiting attitude to Mexicos growth in football?

Why not note it, but give it little importance?

Right now there are bigger problems like the fact the US kept passing through the holes in Mexico's defense.

LEts focus on practical solutions instead of whining

true, that was definitely a bad penal call. With all the shots of US NAD fans making diving motions, why not make one when Ching dove for that penal?

lol did everyone forget the US could've shoved two more goals in if it weren't for the fact that their players are retarded?

what would've the excuse been if we lost 3-1 or 4-1?

That bad penalty call changed the flow of the game and broke Hugo's scheme.

But hold your heads up high, people. We lost fair and square to the ref.

TRUE--- the score could have easily been 4-1 OR it could have easily been 1-0.

The goal (or absence of) will always dictate the strategy imposed by the coach. It is the goal that will indicate which tactical measures must be put in place.

I do not think it is fair to say that the US could have won 3-1,4-1. HAD they never been awared the PK for obvious reasons , those attacks at the goal by Ching and Beasley were a result of more of Mexico advancing the lines and exposing their backs, than of tactical superiority on the part of the US team.

The 2nd goal was fantistic. My hats off to it. Thos are the type of goals all fans like to watch---

I still think that the REF played an inportant part and aided in the result. Like the saying goes, the best ref is the ref you do not even know by name.

the refs man,we always lose cuz the refs suck

you can stop with your condescending remarks.

criticizing the officiating is valid. It is part of the game.

It is real easy this mentality about teams should just worry about playing and forget about the officiating. This is professional football. Professional, indicating, that accountability and preperation should be held to the highest standards.

Officiating in CONCACAF is poor to say the least. Do you realize most officiating crews are not full-time officials? I do feel for them (officials). They are taxi drivers, clerks, accountants, lawyers, etc who work fulltime jobs and train a couple hours out of the week and run alongside FULLTIME professionals for 90s minutes. Not an easy task. Eduardo Brizio said it best when he said that an official has run alongside and monitor 22 professional athletes who will do almost everything to gain an advantage and worst, do it within a playing surface of 130 x 100 with all the elements (heat, snow, rain, etc)

As far as being valid, lets not forget that this isnt the first controversial game in this particular event. The US-Canada match ended with controversy (and rightly so). The Mexico-CR match ended with controversy (and rightly so).

I do think the officiating in CONCACAF should improve. The tournament has improved alot and I think that it is in the best interest for CONCACAF to prepare its officials a bit more.
