Colombia coach Jorge Luis Pinto believes his team has what it takes to reach the final of the Copa America.

The Cafeteros claimed a convincing 3-1 friendly victory over Ecuador on Saturday, and Pinto believes Colombia can maintain that form throughout the continental tournament that gets under way on Tuesday in Venezuela. I believe that is very positive to shoot for the Final stages of the Copa America. In reality, not making a strong performance would be a failure. It's about winning and playing well...

nothing less than a win vs. Argentina will do, to lift Colombia's spirits.

Eddie Gaven has a better chance of being named the player of the tournament award than Colombia has of winning the Copa America.

Colombia needs to tie, then beat US, as long as Paraguay beats US.

Ven nor Boliva will beat Uruguay nor Peru which is basically who they are going to need to fight till for the 2nd 3rd place.

believe it or not 2nd 3rd actually has it pretty easy they just have to beat #1 in group A which will prob be Peru, which isnt that hard.

Wining in the tournie is pretty much not going to happen anything short than a miracle... I just dont want mexico to beat us because I cant take the announcers now much less if they beat us.

That is why I stopped watching Univision and Telefutura after Copa Oro. I can't stand their constant talking. Sometimes it's OK but they are always talking obvious things. GolTV for life.

But this tourney is GolTV in English. I freaking hate that.

I was working at my computer and had the game on in the background, looked up at the clock and realized it was already 15 minutes in to the game!!! They're boring as hell in English.

Really? I like the constant talking. Keeps the game interesting when it's boring. The GolTV announcers bore me to death. Half the time they aren't talking at all, the other half, they don't know what they're talking about.
