underarmour heat gear works great underneath the jersey. i don't know about the cold gear or turf

Here's my anecdotal evidence (I've played soccer in AZ and NJ, when it's hot out):
The Under Armour, Dri-Fit, etc. are worth it in very hot and humid conditions. Not so useful when it's hot and dry.

i like my underarmour compession shorts alot but i have not bought any thing else they make yet
