Other news: the two testplayers Marciano and Katza will not join the team. This is what the coach Daum said after the match.
He also said that Köln still has a lot of work to do :)

How do you guys like Umit Ozat so far? He was one of our well respected players and we're really looking forward to seeing him play in Koln even though we're going to feel his absence in the first few games. A good captain he was...

I think Ümit is a great signing for Köln. It is amazing how fast he is learning the german language! He is telling jokes in german already :D
I had the chance to see him play on the right back and left back side and although he is right footed I think he is playing better on the left wing back side. I understood that this was also his favourite position at Fenerbahçe.

By the way Youssef Mohamad signed today! It was no secret that he wanted to join Köln this year although he had a contract in Freiburg till 2008, but finally Köln and Freiburg found an agreement. The transfer fee is not known, but it is probably around 1,500,000 Euros.
It is said that he is one of the best defenders in the second division. Unfortunately I didn't follow many Freiburg matches to give an insight...

Yes they played with each other, and our Uzbekistan U22 scored them 3:1.
Köln U19 1-3 Uzbekistan U22.
Here was the termin.

Today center.tv will broadcast another testmatch! It starts already at 2pm European time, which is 7am Central (so in approx 2h), but it will be repeated at 12pm central.
