just saw what suazo did, that was brutal

I am normally a peaceful person, but honestly: It might have been brutal, but Salihovic deserved this tackle and the loss of his tooth after his rude gesture to the Südkurve.

Everything else regarding the match was said already. Wonderful weather, great atmosphere in the stadium and fans that pushed the team forward. Really brilliant support there - if we can repeat this against Mainz again, then we will win that match as well !

Ehh, what? He deserved to be kicked out a tooth because he put his forefinger to his lips ("shut up") in front of our fans?
I didn't like his gesture, but it hardly justified violent play. Besides, Souazo's action might well have brought us down to ten men - in the most important match so far.

Yes, because the only purpose of his rude gesture was to provoke the fans and indirectly the whole team. He can be lucky that he only lost a tooth - I am pretty sure anyone in the stadium would have wanted to bash him down.

Besides, Souazo's action might well have brought us down to ten men - in the most important match so far.I don't think Suazo did that on purpose and obviously the ref didn't think that either. Eduardo should have gotten red as well, so it would have been 10 against 10. But all that 'would have' doesn't count, the fact is that we won and overtook Hoppenheim in the table.

Yes !! Another 3 points and back in second place.
I am sorry for Mainz, I really thought we could keep Hoppenheim out of the Bundesliga, but as it looks at this moment it will be Gladbach, Hoppenheim and either Köln or Mainz to get promoted.

If I had wishes, I would wish a victory on Sunday over Mainz and therefore our promotion and a victory in Lautern, just to celebrate Lauterns relegation :P
If Mainz would get promoted as well I think I wouldn't stop celebrating till the start of the next season :)

I bet it won't be easy for Hoppenheim to beat Offenbach & Fürth (Bruno promised some help to Kloppo & Daum:-)!

You really like Lautern, don't you? ;)

@ MickFW surely won't be amused. :-)

Congrats on another crucial win, your guys have finally realised that they can't afford dropping points anymore.

Do you remember when I told you (at the beginning of the season) that Gladbach's & Köln's quality in attack will be the key to promotion in the end?

Actually I do seem to remember something like that.

Can't remember it to be honest, but I believe you - and I hope Novakovic and Helmes will prove you right in the remaining games. :) They have been massive for us this season, no matter how it all ends.

By the way, what did Bruno say? I still have fond memories of the days when he formed our strikeforce together with Toni Polster.

Good luck against Mainz guys. Shame that both can't be promoted but you guys belong in the Bundesliga first and foremost.

Mainz is a solid club. Would be nice to see them up in 09.

I expect a hell of a game this afternoon!

A win for Köln - and they are in the 1 Bundesliga

A draw - and they'll probably have to win in Kaiserslautern (depends on the Hoppenheim results)

A defeat - well, then it's going to be very tough (depends on the last 2 Hoppenheim results as well)
