It used to work without problems, because last season you didn't need to have money in your account. This season they changed it and you need to put at least $10 or €10 in your account to be able to watch the live stream. Unfortunately USA is one of the countries that does not allow internet bets and therefore betandwin does not allow users from the USA. You can, however, create an account from another country and pay by e.g. PayPal (that's how I did it), all you need then is a proxy (if you live in germany) and you'll be able to watch the games live.

How do I get a proxy?

hmm maybe I should try it
:D 10 $ are not that much anymore *jk*

Ok back to the FC.
I predict a 2:0 win against Augsburg and I am going even farther and say that we will be on an promotion place before winter break.
:D This thread needs some optimism.

Damn, you are really not bad with predictions (ok, that 1 goal is secondary:-)! ;)

I have to admit that it is a good feeling ;) ... after the awful last season.

Btw: Nice to see Thomas Broich finally score again! He was one of my fav players ... and to be honest, I still like him (although he's wasting his talent for some unknown reason)!

Nice win yesterday. Scoring goals is fun, I was thinking 2-0 by the way.

Ok, Mainz is known to be a strong team at home, so I expected a tough match and predicted a close 1-0 win for us. Unfortunately the goal was on the 05ers side.
I saw a too passive FC in the first 60 minutes and early attacking 05ers, I'd wish we would have played from the beginning on how we played after the 1-0. The injury from Vucicevic in the first half didn't help us much either. Also the post disallowed yet another goal by Novakovic. And I should have known that this day is not a lucky day for us, because I planned my trip to Mainz and checked on Restaurants close to the stadium. There was one that even sold Kölsch and a good variety of food and would open up at 3pm. Unfortunately not that day, due to stock taking (or some such) they would open at 8.30pm.
The new jersey that we had to wear due to the same team colors did not bring luck either..
Bad luck throughout the day...

Our defense was good anyways, the corner kick was already saved, but Mainz got the ball back and scored by a (have to admit) nice header.
If this would have been right after the corner kick Ehret or somebody else would have saved the header again (like the last time).
The FC woke up after this goal and pushed Mainz into their own half, they got more and more chances to equalize, but in the end it was not enough.

Although the team lost and the players were disappointed we fans celebrated them with never ending 1. FC Köln chants.

Shit man. Down here, they close for a couple of weeks before the Holiday/Ski Season really gets into gear.....

I can understand going on vacation, but wouldn't it be better to do whatever you have to do on a Monday as opposed to a Friday - with your local team having a home game? Imagine the lost revenues.

Not that important to them. Money doesn't come first with many here.

That's pretty cool. They might have even gone to the game themselves ;)

That might explain why they opened at 8.30 pm iso 3pm. Maybe their reason was that they wanted to avoid any hooligans, who knows

Currently it looks like that the other teams are playing for us and that we will stay fourth:
VfL Osnabrück vs TSV 1860 München 3-0
FC Augsburg vs SpVgg Greuther Fürth 3-0

That means that although we lost there are only 2-4 points difference to the third (depending on Monday's match). Think after all we got lucky :)
