I must admit that I couldn't care less what Voigt says about us. I had a discussion about him once with a friend who also supports Cologne. He said he liked him and his fighting spirit. I said (and I'll stick to that): He acts on the pitch like a complete cad, playing raw and always arguing with the ref. He's a very limited footballer IMO, although indeed very committed. I wasn't sad when he left us.
If he's happy at Gladbach now (and the fans are happy with him), that's a great thing. Good luck Alex! Just don't do anything stupid in the game against us, like scoring a goal for example. :D

Actually I could care less what the «Express» is writing about Köln or Voigt. Not even one year ago, when Voigt was playing for Jena and was celebrated by our fans he said that he still liked Köln. The rivalry between BMG and the FC is well known and Voigt said what his fans expected him to say.
Anyways, I didn't understand why he had to leave us back that day, he really was a player with heart. When he left Jena many FC fans wanted him to be back, but I think we have a better player with Özat now.

I am looking forward to the match, seeing Voigt and Scherz battle for the ball :D

Didn't see the game but read some text commentary. 2 goals in the opening five minutes. That's always a good thing. :D

The two goals in the first five minutes were really good, but it kinda sucked, because we were late and walked to the stadium shortly before kickoff time. I mentioned how it would suck if they scored while we were still walking and then people celebrated the first goal :p
Almost to the stadium we heard that Köln missed a chance, we looked at each other and agreed that it would be worse if we would have missed the second goal only to hear the crowd celebrating a second goal :D

Glad we were able to cheer at another two goals.

Should be very interesting! :D

I hope that Scherz will be repeating the great "job" he's always doing in the derby...:p

It's derby time ... and nobody around here seems to care about it.

C'mon, let me know what you think about this "Express" headline. Is that really about RELIGION?;)

Yes. 20.15 o/c live on DSF.

Is anybody from this forum going to attend it?

I am looking forward to the Derby.
;) Part of me only wishes that it would have been earlier this season.

Still I think the FC will win, mostly because we are always better against stronger advesaries.
And we don`t play at home.

So my guess is 2:1 for Köln (goals by Nova and Dark Helmet)

:( hopefully I will be able to see the game since I got university till 20:00
and the f*** bahn is still on strike

Definitely an interesting game. I'm not too optimistic about this one, but it's probably not bad we play away from home. Gladbach has to take the initiative and we can camp in our own half, waiting for counterattacks. If we don't concede an early goal, we might win the game or at least get a draw.
That's all mere theory of course, everyone knows we tend to fail miserably in games against Gladbach.

Somehow that link doesn't work for me, or the page has already disappeared. What has the upcoming game got to do with religion, according to Express?

It really doesn't work for you?

Hmmm, somehow I can read the article when I click on the link...

Ok, then try THIS (http://www.rp-online.de/public/article/regional/niederrheinsued/moenchengladbach/sport/borussia/491757) article...

That might be a problem (you really have uni until 20:00 o/c ?). Good luck!

2-1 for the goats !!!

Helmes scores right after mitreski is sent of for a nothing foul .

This guy is seriously good.

It’s gonna be hard to hold out till the end with 10 men .

At least my over bet has gone through , I can now enjoy the game.

And it was pretty crap in the first half.

Gladbach equalize.

Yep. Got my card and everything.

Also we formed the North American supporters club as well.

What rights come with that? Can you vote for the members of the executive board and the president?

I'm not sure about voting. Have to look into that.

Happy with the point.

Me too (although we should have won the game in the end). So we are all happy now, aren't we? *wink*

Since you fighted so bravely after you were down to 10 men, I begrudge you this 1 point! ;)
