Mondragon will be out for 1 week, whereas Helmes' injury is still unclear (knee). He'll be checked by the doc tomorrow.

lol :D
Kessler did well when he came in for mondi.
beautyful mountain shows some weaknesses, we really need another leftback
2 beautyful goals by Nova saved the day. He is becoming ice cold when it comes to using chances.
and finally a goal after a standard situation.
 unfortunatly the club still hasn`t come to a calm
Rumor of the week. Chelsea might be interested in Daum.

I thought you would like Joke and Beautiful Mountain.

Chelsea won't go after Daum. No way. no how.

Investigative journalism à la Kölner Express, is it? :D
Arguably the most far-fetched und unrealistic revelation this paper has ever come up with.

Indeed. Especially since these guys swear the job is Grant's to have and to hold until death does him and Abramowich part......

Köln - Freiburg 1:3 :(

Can't believe how poorly you have played once again in a nearly sold out stadium! Ok, Freiburg was very strong ... nevertheless your fans don't deserve such a "scaredy-cat football" with the quality you have!
Quo vadis, Mr. Daum?

I can't help, I have the feeling the team does not have the endurance to go over 90 minutes... Especially between minute 70 and 75 the team was watching Freiburg playing - they did not attack nor move at all!
I have my own thoughts why Köln plays so poor in their own stadium. Except for the so called real fans in the standing area the support is basically non existant. I am sitting S15 which is right above the standing area and the fans around me just sit there and complain all the time. One bad pass and they start arguing, one chance without goal and they start to shout. I wonder why they visit the matches anyways... Although I try to animate them I am usually the only one singing and cheering with the standing area.
The away support is great though, that is in my opinion why Köln plays better away ;)
One thing more was that Dr. Fleischer, the ref had a real bad day, which was fortunate for us that he did not call (yet again) a penalty against us. But some of his decisions were simply wrong or just not understandable. And no, the second goal by Köln was not offsides...

That was my impression as well when you played against Fürth.

I noticed that with amazement when I was in your stadium 2 weeks ago. How I mentioned, there are many parallels between the Borussia-Park & Rhein-Energie-Stadion! What happened to our fan culture lately?
At least we can be proud of the away support.

:D I love Daums facial expressions.
They could have given Overrath a more colognian accent though

Didn't see the game but read some text commentary. 2 goals in the opening five minutes. That's always a good thing. :D

I must admit that I couldn't care less what Voigt says about us. I had a discussion about him once with a friend who also supports Cologne. He said he liked him and his fighting spirit. I said (and I'll stick to that): He acts on the pitch like a complete cad, playing raw and always arguing with the ref. He's a very limited footballer IMO, although indeed very committed. I wasn't sad when he left us.
If he's happy at Gladbach now (and the fans are happy with him), that's a great thing. Good luck Alex! Just don't do anything stupid in the game against us, like scoring a goal for example. :D

The same with Thomas Broich if he should play...;)
Btw: I don't believe that Alex Voigt is going to start the Humba in the case of a home win. He simply can't do that to his former fans.
