damn i wish i went to Korea for the WC. the only thing that'll stop me from going to germany is if i'm in jail, and even then i'd try a jail break.

I didn't really know him before the World Cup. A bunch of people from DC who were going and who were on the mailing list decided to get together one night at the Brickskeller (http://www.thebrickskeller.com/) for a few beers to introduce ourselves. I only knew the guys I was going with, so it was a good idea, and I met him there.

Andy and I ended up hanging out a good bit during the World Cup along with a bunch of other US fans and I get mentioned in the book a few times (I'm even in a photo or two, including one with the famous Tom Flannigan).

It's in my sig because, with the World Cup qualifiers coming up, I wanted people to consider buying the book to get a feel for "going on the road" to support the US. In addition to the World Cup, I went to four road qualifiers last time and to the Confed Cup last summer. I really love heading to different countries to watch our guys play and hope there are even more of us this cycle.
