The Love Below. As good as Speakerboxx is (it's tops), this is one of the best albums I may have ever heard. Not even the Polyphonic Spree leave a smiel on your face liek this guy does. Hey Ya! isn't even the best song on the album... that reward must go to "Behold A Lady", in my opinion. Andre 3000 is a music genius, and sems to be overshadowing Big Boi more and more as tiem goes by, imo. Big Boi is one of the best rappers going, but Andre 3000 has really expanded his horizons.

I'd love to see the video for it again, though.
A friend of mine made me a bunch of CDs, so right now I'm listening to a Japanese group called The Pizzacato Five, their album called A New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular. Really odd, but interesting.

Pizzicato Five rule. Show me someone who listens to Twiggy Twiggy without tapping their foot or nodding along, and I will show you a person without a soul.

I agree. I'm listening to it again, actually, and Twiggy Twiggy is on deck.
It takes a tremendous act of will for me to type Pizzicato, though.

Heart by Stars. What a strange album. Catchy and poppy, but so earnest at times you're embarassed for the performers, like you're embarassed for the girl in 11th grade english class who scrawled marginal love poetry all over her trapper-keeper.

Brand new remastered King Tubby double CD with Roots of Dub and Dub From the Roots.
PLus I just picked up Mad Professor's "Dub me crazy" Turbonegro's "Scandanavian Leather" and a used copy of Ann Barretta's live album (never knew they put it out). I can't tell you that last time I dropped $50 at one time at the record store.
