I just found a compilation album (yes, real vinyl) put out by Stereo 101 FM in Minneapolis around 1980(?). Its got great songs by local bands that never made it big nationally: the Flamin' Ohs, Dare Force, the Phones, Sussman Lawrence, Crash Street Kids, plus many others.

Ever had those times where a song is stuck in your head and you need to keep hearing it until you're sick of it? Right now it's Malcolm McMclaren's Buffalo Gals for some strange reason.

At this very moment i am listening to Beck - Lost Cause
However, in the broader sense, i have been listening alot to:
Apples in stereo - The bird taht you cant see
Cake - You part the waters
Self - Marathon Shirt
as well as a mojority of a solo recod of my guitarist. I enginieered and produced most of it, and needless to say, i am very proud.

No Control by Bad Religion. By far their best album and less than 30 minutes long! I've been listening to this all the way through in my car for a week now and still haven't gotten tired of it, which says a lot considering I've had the CD for a couple of years now. On my computer I've been listening to mostly D.I. and the Adolescents. Any of the OC hardcore stuff is awesome, because its fairly melodic despite carrying the "hardcore" label.
