I am fed up with not having Gol TV on TWC. There is sooooo much shiite on the channel line up but they can't even get Gol TV. I am considering switching to Direct TV, but first I am giving TWC one more chance. I filed a comment about GOL TV at this web address http://www.twcnyc.com/index2.cfm?c=cust_sup/cs_contact_us

For some reason until a week ago I thought that the COPA AMERICA was going to be on FSC - now that I am realizing that it is not, I am starting to panic about where I am going to go to watch the games - how am I going to watch the games?

Everyone please go to the site above and request that they add GOL TV to the line up - help a brutha out. I know it will not get on in the next couple of weeks, but at least I will get to watch La Liga next year!

I tried to use the comments section on the link I posted, but unfortunately and not surprisingly (considering it is TWC it doesn't work). I am trying to find an email address to send it to. I Will post it when I find it, in the meantime, I encourage everyone to continue trying to use the comments link to send the message to TWC.

If anyone else is interested, I am all for starting a letter campaign to get GolTV on Time Warner.

i get goltv through TVU Player (google it to find it. basically it lets you watch tv channels via the internet) you'll need a good internet connection but if you can get it its well worth it.

While I'd love to get Gol TV I'm not going to mind watching it on Telefutura.

Anybody know if I can get the game tonight on Sopcast. I already downloaded that for the Telefutura MLS games that I also don't get, so I don't want to download another channel.

Guys, send a real letter to them via United States Postal Service. A real letter has much more impact than email. I have had 2 separate issues with TWC and sent letters in response. They were slow to get back to me, but they did call me back on both issues. Trust me, write them....tell them what their cutomer base wants. I'm not syaing we'll be successful, but they'll know we're out there. I'll be the first to say I'll write them tomorrow.

If fact, ask for ESPNU, ESPN Deportes and Setanta, while you're at it.

The best thing to do is get as many people as possible to call or request GolTV from the Time Warner website.

I mean A LOT of people. Friends, family, co-workers, etc. If you belong to a soccer league, get the entire soccer league to do it.

I hate to say it, but you have to be a pest and get everyone you know to request GolTV from Time Warner.

I've been doing this for 18 months. More and more people need to do it.

Agreed! Plus, GolTV carries La Liga in the fall, so you can also get Barça, Real, Valencia, Sevilla etc. I want to start following Spanish football, so I am going to write a letter as well.

Thanks for the update.

I just found out about TVU last week and I think it is great. However, my obvious concern is that it will screw up my pc. Is it safe?

Bumping this thread!

Steve Goff reports in his Soccer Insider (http://blog.washingtonpost.com/soccerinsider/2008/03/quiet_morning_busy_afternoon.html) that:

GolTV has purchased the U.S. rights to show Germany's 2010 World Cup qualifiers as well as six friendlies, including the match against England in November in Berlin.

Time to start writing letters!

The original link worked for me.

I wrote a nice long letter. I said that I'm considering switching to Direct TV if they don't add Gol TV.

I've been calling them for a while now, but haven't had any luck.

So please, everyone pass the word onto family, friends, co-workers, and team-mates.
