We have dominated the entire 20 mintues so far and we are 2-0 behind. ********ing pathetic.

I really dont know whats happening to this team away, last year we were the best away side, now it looks like we will lose our 5th away game in a row :(

But there is still time - we have played well so far, so we cant count ourselves out of this game just yet!

I can't wait til Delpierre comes back...12 Goals (so far) in 7 matches is absolutely ridiculous for a team of quality like the VfB. I would personally like to see Meira give the captain's band back to Veh and a new captain be chosen.

Meira has played 150 BL games for VfB and has been one of our best players for 3 years now. We shouldnt be so harsh on him just because of the poor start he is having to this season. im sure he will find his form back. But Delpierre is needed right now for sure.

It's not so much the actual play of Meira...It's lack of organization on the field. our boys seem so lost and confused this season. Although, it's probably just said out of emotions...

Well, half time and we are down 2-0. Do we still stand a chance of grabbing something from this game? For sure it is possible, but i dont really see it happening at this point. Our side has been simply pathetic away so far this season, and it looks like we couldnt possibly be less prepared for the Barca match.

We lost. Again.

4 away games, 4 losses. ********ing embarrassing, and it seems like we are the new Gladbach. We dominated this whole game, didnt take our chances and the defense just threw it away because of lack of concentration. Delpierre really needs to return as soon as possible, with meira and Tasci i didnt originally believe that we would miss him much, but how wrong was I. Without him, our defense has been in tatters, it hasnt been this bad since the Rangnick time.

Ive run out of patience with the side now, it is time for Veh to really shout them down and put them in their place. The high of the title is over, now we have to wake up and get our season in the right direction. If we continue like this not only can we completely forget about the Champions League, but we also shouldnt bother hoping for the Uefa Cup. We need to change this.

...and Barca comes in 4 days, couldnt be at a worse time. Atleast we are at home, maybe there we can cause an upset. But to be honest i dont see it happening after this game. Im just really, really pissed at the team now, why they cant take points at the moment in these sorts of matches i really dont know. Im really frustrated.

Thats pretty much the only game that im confident we will win. I was talking to a Rangers fan about the group the other day and we both seemed to think each others teams were the weakest. But we'll say how the rest of the groupstage plays out.

Not trolling. Just curious whether Veh is concentrating more on the CL this season or the BL? I saw the recent loss and was wondering if he had rested key players before the Barca match or something. I know some coaches favor one over the other.

Will be an interesting game. First one for us with Ronaldinho back and tbh the team played much better recently with him out. So either he'll be dying to show how good he is again or the equilibrium might be off. Either way, Messi will be a handful.

As far as I know, Veh hasn't rested anybody.

Wouldn't be a good idea right now, anyway, because Stuttgart struggles in the Bundesliga.

Veh rested no one, which makes the result all the worse.

Obviously Barca are the big favourites for this tie(i personally predict a 2-0 win for them), but unlike away, we have been playing solidly at home, and lets not forget that we havent lost at home in the league or the German cup for 19 games, so hope is always there. Id still be over the moon if we can take a point away from this.
