Hahaha tahnks you know Pavel Pardo was Club America's best CDM and when he left tuuu yore team you got not only him but Club America's Fan support you guys VfB have all of America's Fan support so i hope you do good in the Champions we will be watching!!

When Pardo arrived Mexican opinion seemed more like
"he's only there to help Osorio adapt" or "he'll never make it in Germany". :D
Quess you only appreciate what you lost (or the Chivas fans are more vocal).

Anyway today it's more on us to watch how good Mexico does. :)

Osorio got injured in the Gold Cup Final . Its still unkown how bad his injury was. He flew to Mexico City right away to get treatment and get a medical evaluation.

I watched the game yesterday, it's true that Pardo doesn't play nearly as good for the NT as he does for us. He was still alright though. Osorio was pretty average, but made no notable errors.

Either way i'm sorry for the loss, maybe you'll have better luck in the Copa America. :)

Yesterday, the Stuttgarter Nachrichten reported that Stuttgat is supposedly interested in Belgian Kevin Mirallas (19/OSC Lille). He seems to be a very talented striker who is said to be the next big thing out of Belgium. At this point, he's still only a talent, but that's probably exactly what our club officials are looking for in our potential 4th striker.

So it also seems that Alfonso and Gomis are finally ruled out for being too expensive.

Anyways, I'm expecting to see the new strikers this week already, as preparations start on friday. This saturday, the team will go on a one week training camp and I'd suspect that the new players will all be there. As of now, everythig still points on Ewerthon. And Mirallas might just be the other new striker.

In other news, it looks like Gentner will be staying with us and won't be loaned out to Leverkusen:

I think it actually would've been better for him to be loaned out (without a buy option) since there he could've played more often and now he'll probably be behind Basturk, da Silva and Farnerud in the pecking order. But unfortunately Leverkusen didn't want to loan him without a buy option.

Turns out it wasn't too serious, still he and Pardo are going to miss the Copa America because the Mexican NT coach has agreed to let them go on holliday after pretty much 2 years of non-stop football playing. They will join the VfB squad a week later than the rest of the side.

Today, rumors appeared that Meira might leave the club. Milan, Juventus and some unnamed Spanish teams are said to be interested in our captain. Meira confirmed that a couple of "powerful teams" are interested in him and he said that he would very much like to go to Italy if it would be in Stuttgart's interest to sell him (Juve being named as favorite by the newspaper "Público").

I can't see it to be in Stuttgart's interest to sell him. At least not this year. His contract lasts until 2010, so we're in no hurry. But if he really wants to go to Italy, I don't think we can hold him for more than one year.

In other news Torino is unhappy that non of their clubs have qualified for CL and has asked VfB to move over. We'll earn a 50 million transfer fee and be allowed to reconstruct delle Alpi to our likeing. Juve will move to Milano, they have more fans there anyway.

Stuttgart signed Georges Mandjeck. He's a 19 year old midfielder from Cameroon. He was signed for our second team but is supposed to slowly become part of the Bundesliga side. Don't know much more about him...we'll see

So, after a long time, I'm back :D

First game will be in Stuttgart against Schalke. I thinkt, it will be a hard match, but we won the last games in our GLD-Stadium without getting an goal against us.

Second game will be in Berlin, not much easier than vs. Schalke...starting good into the new season would be great.

I'm excited which scorer we're gonna bring to the "Ländle" :o
