I've created a league...

League Name: Big Soccer
Password: bigsoccer

You have to create a team (but you don't have to pick players yet) before you can join a league (or mini-league as they call it).

I'm waiting for the US and Mexico to release their final rosters before I make up my team (the Akronites).

I'm obviously going to be biased towards the one I posted but....the one Jermain Defoe posted is just some guy on another forum running a makeshift fantasy league through a thread on that forum. Mine is using the FourFourTwo magazine engine, where everything is calibrated for you automatically (as opposed to by said guy who may or may not forget to carry the two or whatever).

I joined up. This should be a lot of fun. It certainly will help hold my interest if Team USA gets the boot early.

Thanks for sharing this. I love fantasy sports, but soccer is something I've never considered playing in a fantasy atmosphere. :)

I tried to register, but when i read the terms and conditions it says it's only for UK residents. Is that true or am I just confused?

No, I didn't have a problem registering either, but it's just that when I read the terms and conditions it says:

"5.3 All users can play the Game for FREE. You may only register one free team per entrant. The Game is only open to UK residents. Anybody believed to have entered more than one team or not be a UK resident will be disqualified and will not be eligible to win prizes."

It's all set then, I joined the bigsoccer league as "MillonariosDC", There's only 6 ppl in the league and the only guys I recognize are Spartak and "the akronites". Did u join the league yet Visca?

Any predictions on the highest goal scorer? It is tending to be Robinho so far, but we may have surprises from Argentina (Riquelmo?) or Mexico ..
