I haven't watched that show in 20 years. I think it's funny that people are pretending to care.
The one constant through all the years,
~Jer~, has been Price is Right.
America has rolled by
like an army of steamrollers.
It's been erased like a blackboard,
rebuilt, and erased again.
But Price is Right has marked the time.
This showcase showdown, this game show.
It's a part of our past, ~Jer~.
It reminds us of all that once was good...
...and it could be again.

I'm getting the traveling itch. Sucks since I won't be able to go anywhere until next summer. I'm mulling a Euro 2008 trip.
I want to get out to Mt Rainier NP next year.
In 2009, I want to go to Iceland, hike, play golf at 3am, and catch at least 1 WC '10 qualifier.

I just read a thing in Slate that said that the Pentagon was almost built entirely without windows, because Roosevelt said they weren't necessary since the building was to be air-conditioned. Yeesh.

I was supposed to stop in Iceland on my way to Amsterdam a few years back, but my friend bailed on me. Maybe if I did the Euro 08 thing I'd stop there.

I've been wanting to get back into travel mode lately as well. Sigh.

:D
Bob's retirement is mildly interesting to me, I used to watch the show and it's certainly a cultural touchstone.
But who replaces him and whether the show goes on means absolutely nothing to me.
