Good point by the Max and Sullivan for a change.

that's the second game in a row where they had a gimme goal they didn't finish for 3-0 and the other team got back in the match.

Wow. Canada got ********ed there.

But I see it as Karma for Hume, who should have been tossed, getting a goal and saving another.

Got in from ref'ing just in time to see Bradley's brain fart. I was reaching for my back pocket before the ref did.

Adn then the AR seals the deal for the US with a poor call.

Not sure what to think about all that.

Wow.

That was an annoying second half. They got into a defensive posture WAAAYYYY too early, man.

what a shit offsides call.

Those are normally the calls that go against the U.S.

That was a goal. I wondering if the ref was thinking let the play run as long as the attacking team has possession. Hell, I think Hutchinson was onside BEFORE the ball deflected off Gooch.

I guess we aren't doing result tags. I only caught minute 85 on since I got back late from running. I guess we'll take it, but a big part of me doesn't like winning that way. But ask me how I feel on Sunday.

That's as much if not more the CR's call as it is the AR's.

We never do result tags for US games.

Well.

That was not offsides.

But I'm taking it just the same. Canada certainly played hard in this one. Not the strongest of games for the US of A.

no, he wasn't offsides before Gooch got his head on it....which is why that's such a shit offsides call.

The only thing I can think of is that he thought a Canadian flicked it on.

I think the center ref did a good job on that. Unless the AR is out of position, you have to trust his call.....even when it's that wrong.

That's as much if not more the CR's call as it is the AR's.

He's running behind the play. He has to go along with his AR, unless the AR is out of position.

How often have you seen a CR overrule an AR on a play like that at this level?

Seriously, the ref ********ed up many more things than the offside call. Like I said, Hume should have been ejected earlier, and he wouldn't have been there to make the two goals of difference that he did.

No way. Your job in the center is to make the determination of all of the circumstances surrounding the offside and overrule the AR when he's clearly wrong. The CR totally blew that.

I don't care how often it DOES happen. It's what SHOULD happen. That's his job. The AR shouldn't have raised his flag, but the CR has ultimate responsibility to blow the whistle or not.

If you blindly trust your ARs, that's just lazy reffing.

I don't like thugs.

That guy should be playing for Leeds, not Leicester.
