EJ having a better than average game... especially given his recent form for the Nats.
very true.
The more I watch this team, I love how BB is using Landy. It utilizes his speed and keeps him from being beat up too bad.

I'll take a bunch of solid, smashing tackles from CAN than a game against Guatemala any day.

Bradley gets better and better and...
Coach Bob... time to sub out Beasley.

And not to be a nitpicker on the announcers, but the fact that they aren't clued into the yellow card issue is... well it is what is.

He's so random, though. I mean, if we're playing MEX, I don't want him out there.

Where I do because he's been in those big games enough times over.
Hume should be out with two yellows and he doesn't even have one.
Awful.
DeRosario's so much better than the rest of his team, it's absurd.

Hejduk is great against teams that aren't all that organized, he's a nightmare against higher quality sides.

Yeah. Too bad we couldn't steal him somehow. He's a certifiable bad ass.

Mexico is not showing to be that quality of a side in this tournament so far.
Of course, they could be coasting a bit too.

Did Boca find his jock yet?

Don't get me wrong, but during WCQ's, I have that slightly nervous feeling when I'm watching. And while I obviously want us to win, I don't have that uneasiness.
Even now.
Hume should be out with two yellows and he doesn't even have one.
Awful.
And then he scores a goal. What garbage.

But made a hell of a save on the goal line.
I like that sub at this point.

I was thinking the same thing...moves Landon up top and puts more ball control and size in the midfield.

CAN is a pretty solid squad, really. They are what we were in the early 90s. A number of quality players, but really paltry elsewhere.
Geebus, that goal line save from hume was a freaking sidefoot donkey kick. Insane.
