Even if they're just reimbursing me for spending my own money?
I can't answer that.
I mean I can, but I don't have any idea if that answer would be right.
What I do know is that when a company that moves you to or from Ohio and they give you a stipend for that move, it is taxable income.
EDIT: This appears only to be true if you are moving a certain distance or less.
I would be willing to bet that if Canada or Montana or wherever the hell you live has the same stipulations, than moving to Hawai'i should cover that distance minimum.

Thanks for the congrats, everybody. I don't know if you could call me giddy or excited or anything like that, but this is definitely the best I've felt in a long time.

I'll be sure to run that past the editor. They've had a few new folks move in recently, so it should be fresh in his mind.
EDIT: I'm in Oregon ... the opposite end from Barb and Dig.

Heck, in itself that's a great thing. Completely.
Now...I'm becoming convinced I won't be able to eat dinner because I'm so worried about Canadians. What'm I, John Candy???? ;)
All I said was "Canadian beer sucks!"

Okay, so it seems that here in Ohio, if you are moving a certain distance or more to come here, your movie expenses are deductable, but the money you get to pay for those expenses are taxed.
That's pretty much what I thought it was.

Did anyone else go out and watch the space shuttle and the International Space Center pass by last night?
That was really, really bad-ass.
They're up there again tonight to see plain as day, but tomorrow will be another really great night like last night.

Hopefully Bornstein can tighten up a bit this half. Gooch is a freaking nightmare and Boca is lucky to be still on the field. Frankie seems to be our steady defender tonight. :D

Agreed.....I think Gooch is crap, while Bornstein and Boca just seem off their game.
Frankie is just steady Frankie
Dempsey needs to finish better as well.

Looked like he stepped on a mine.
Is it one of those nights where the grass is a bit slick? I've noticed a bit of slipping

Hello.
Count me out of any BSSM/B@W gatherings for the immediate future. The folks in Hilo want me ... so much so they didn't bother to fly out the other two finalists. Turning in my two weeks tomorrow.

Great, now we have the pleasure of listening to the idiot Mex fans for the rest of the game.

I like the idea of pulling some of our yellow-carded players pretty soon.
And Frankie mfing Hejduk. It's like he plays mediocre and shit just long enought that you want to jettison his ass, and then he has a game like tonight.

EJ having a better than average game... especially given his recent form for the Nats.
