Lewis Black was great tonight. We had what were billed as fourth row center seats but were actually second row seats because the official first and second rows were folding chairs that they set up right at the foot of the stage.

Jesus my legs are dead today. I have no idea how I'm gonna do back-to-back 100-mile days. I mean, I know I can do it, but it's gonna ********in' hurt.

That reminds me... Barb, Dig, I'm riding through your town in three weeks.

On a bike?

On a bike.
You're not riding through Vancouver. You'll be on the other side of the river.

I don't think they want to send several thousand bicyclists down I-5 or over Green Mountain Road between Kalama and Woodland.

Need any support? I'll probably volunteer to help send riders off as long as they don't have me doing the @#$*ing parking. Unless they're better organized with that this year.

On a bike.

So I guess you can't stop and have some drinks or something.

I have burned my first CD ever.

A very eclectic mix, as anything comprsing Benny Goodman, Sleater-Kinney, John Mayer, Bill Frisell and K.T. Tunstall is bound to be.

I burned 58 of them in the past couple of weeks. 22 for Trooper and 36 for me....and now they are on their way to Dig.

Congrats though on the CD, that's always cool stuff.

I should be fine, but thank you.

Yes, I know we technically go through Burlington, but that's close enough to Vancouver, right?

Well, no, probably not. :D

I'm gonna be good and ready to do some drinkin' afterward, though...

Although I still haven't sorted out transportation back and all that.

If you're going through Burlington, you're on the RSVP ride. :D Either that or you're seriously lost.

They used to take us on both I-5 and the Green Mountain Road in drivers' ed. Some really nasty curves on the latter, especially in the Impala station wagon we drove for drivers' ed back then.

I need to get my bike and bike rack out of the garage in Longview. I'm pretty sure they built that rack for two bikes.

Whoops.

I forgot about that Burlington. Which is surprising considering I used to use Highway 30 as my alternate route home.

Not much to that Burlington -- although I do remember now they have a strip bar. :D

I really need to get to bed now. Two-job day tomorrow, and I'm considering driving to Longview after that.

Goodnight and pleasant dreams, everyone.
