Too much soccer on to run tonight.....looks like I'll run tomorrow instead.
I'm already at 8 miles for the week, so I'm not doing bad.....if I do the 5 miles tomorrow I was going to do tomorrow, I should be fine.

Run was tough for me tonight, but better than Tuesday's when I was light headed, a bit nauseous, and stepped on a curbside with my toes pointing too far upward and my heel/ankle too far down and probably should have sprained it as a result. Only run 1/2 the Tuesday run, did the whole 5.1 miles tonight.

I still haven't broken 5 miles yet. But, in the last 3 weeks, I've built up from 2.3 miles to 4.7. Considering the heat and the fact that I'm out of shape, I think I'm doing ok so far.
And I will always disagree. It's not lazy reffing to trust your AR if he/she is in position to make a call and makes one. If I'm the CR there, I'm going to blow the whistle every time on that.
I'm 15 yards behind the play and running to catch up, there is no way I'm going to disagree.
It's not about position. The AR is in position to see if the player is in an offside position.
The CR's job is to determine whether there is an offside offense.
Those are two very different things.

I'd hand you a Snickers right now if I had that Star Trek "conjure any food out of atoms" technology.
I had no idea were running a marathon tonight.
I'm going to fill my squeeze bottle full of wine and settle in.

Gotta go read to The Angel. :)
We're reading a story about ponies in Ireland. Um. I don't think you people care about that... I'm just typebabbling.
Back in a bit.

I think we're one the last episode. Studio 60 is on next.

And at that speed and in the position I would be in, I'm going trust that is the correct call.
There is no way I could determine from 10-20 yards behind the play that close if the player was offsides initially or not. If the flag goes down (which it should of), then the game goes on. If not, I'm going to trust the forward was offsides on the initial play.

Dude, you're doing great. That's double what you were doing at the start of the month.
I usually run 5-6, as much as 8. I may start pushing myself a bit more for longer distances on the weekends.

Who has more hate right now.
Writered for Reis or Tog for Hume?
I can't stand Reis, but he's well down the writered list of most despised players. And the list is constantly updated.
I don't like thugs.
That guy should be playing for Leeds, not Leicester.
tog speaks the truth.

Thanks....doesn't always feel like it though. Especially considering I'm still putting quite a bit of walking in. A lot of it is by design because of the heat, but later in the run it's as much because I'm gassed.
Right now, I'm just trying to add an extra 1/4 mile each time I go out.
I think tomorrow might be the last time I run with just a water bottle and not with my Camelback on as well.

The Camelback will be a big help, especially since you can drop ice in the water pouch. Just tighten up the straps so it doesn't bounce all over the place. That's the one drawback to mine (well it is 5 years old), the straps come loose too easily.

Congrats Troop!!! WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Yup, I already checked orbitz and realized that with frequent flyer miles only covering continental US, I ain't going anytime soon. But the Big Island is where I'd go for Troop and the Big Ass Volcanoes. I'd love to hike up those.

Go:
PM me your numbers so I have them in case of any traffic problems tomorrow. I am leaving between 5:30 and 6 and will hopefully be there around 8. I'm gonna crash watching this MLS game.

I have two of them....one in woodland camouflage, and the other is desert camouflage. Both free :)
I saw the same size one for about $100 at various stores.
