Seems a strange move to me but maybe there's more to it than meets the eye? A fall out with John Collins maybe?
As a Jambo I'd be happy to see him go, our full backs have already seen the back of him!;)

If I remember correctly, Sproule was one of the "Ring Leaders" of the trouble at Easter Road, and at the time John Collins intimated that he would try to off load the troublemakers.

I hope we can get a decent fee for him. He had moments where he embarrassed the competition, but once everyone knew about his pace he had not much left. Not bad for a mid-twenties amateur pickup anyhow--I wouldn't mind still having him around for the supersub role, but if as NIMan said he is a trouble maker, he is better gone.

That explains a lot, JC's clearly not a man to forgive and forget.
Well, I'll look forward to Sproule terrorising Otsemobor and Drury at Carrow Road next season!:D

"an undisclosed fee believed to be about £500,000"? Wasn't the Dnipro bid rumoured to be in the region of GB£1.5m?
