We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to consider
awarding Scottish football legend Dave Mackay an honour in the
2007 Christmas list for services to Association Football.

As a player:

1953–1972 Heart of Midlothian, Tottenham Hotspur, Derby County,
Swindon Town

1957–1965 Scotland 22 caps

As a manager: 1971-1991 Swindon Town, Nottingham Forest, Derby
County, Walsall, Kuwait, Doncaster Rovers, Birmingham City.

An inaugural inductee of the English Football Hall of Fame in
2002.
