www.mutinyfans.com BAT FAN site - We're dormant and some of the images are gone, but some of the stories remain for now. I may update it later.

The official site of the Mutiny was at www.tampabaymutiny.com , but that has been pulled alltogether. I expect the owner of that domain may post his photos at a later date, but I have not talked to him in some time.

I don't know why the rest of the fellas didn't put this up yet but here is the one for South Florida:

http://www.soflastrikers.com/

There are a whole bunch of links on this one but you can find the forums if you click over the top left hand corner where it says "South Florida Strikers"

Excuse me chichi, I believe that is a first half score. They can take the teams away, but not the passion. Thank you MLS!

Tony you are right! I didn't notice it was a first half score...

Does anyone have more pictures of the good old rivalry they can post?

What were the final stats anyway? Did the Fusion have the upperhand or did the lowly Muts have it?

Overall
Miami won the series 7-5, but was 3-0 in Shootout wins, so in reality it was closer to 4-5-3!

In Lockhart
Miami 4-2 (2-0 SO) 11 Goals For, 11 Goals Against

In Tampa
Miami 3-3 (1-0 SO) 10 Goals For, 7 Goals Against

They never played in the playoffs, nor in the US Open Cup.

Not true at all. Wins don't matter, points do.

Points: Tampa Bay 15 - Miami 15.

great past, no matter what the score line was......

even: in POINTS! that really counts, plus the fan (funny) from the confussion (that used to piss off el burrito and cia) that say we had a lil grp of fans? well sorry friend, we average about 3 or 4k more per season than the confussion had in a shorter life! That is why I was so surprised by darn contraction and the likes of Bill Manning or Garber(ish)

Keep the rivalry going!

Keep the rivalry going!

ef …..
a little exaggerating there ; your 3-4 k attendance :)
Mutiny over Fusion !?

Over the life time of both teams the attendance difference was 1,670
and only $1,447 during the same year operations …

the big difference… was LockhartSSS, was cheap, and almost breaking even.
RJ… was very expensive, and loosing a ton of $$
both venues were mismanaged

What those a soccer fan and fisherman have in common ?
exaggeration

I miss both teams… went to Tampa even before Fusion was in,
and 6 games during, and enjoyed the rivalry…. To bad MLS
mismanaged and did not promote this aspect either…

Fusion2001 a legend in my own mind :)

let me find the stats

but - for now do the math: tampa bay had couple of years of 13k and one for 14k

Miami had couple of 7k or 8k

the best yr was no more than 10k

where did you get those numbers, 1.6 differential?

RJS - was not operated by the Mutiny or the MLs
you guys had control of the Ugly lockhart!

you will find the stats in the MLS website/statistics

LockhartSSS soccer heaven USA
dont matter to me what you say :)

if Tampa had Lockhart and a owner... you
may still be in business..

SE Florida... edges Tampa, on growth potential.

OK OK !!! I'll let the cat out of the bag, a bit of
info for my Mutant bro

Tampa is seen as the team, that sparked
contraction...
Therefore it dragged the Fusion with it…
should have been San Jose, or Dallas

Ps I am 99% Afusionario and 1% Mut
all the rest $suck

all 4yrs- tampa = 12,775 apx
all 4yrs -lockhart = 12,100 apx

you right I was exagerating, It looked better on a year basis (my memory), for the total numbers, not away/home kind stuff
