"US & Canadian Arsenal supporters" at the top. Kindly leave us Canucks out of this monstrosity. It's mere existence as a website is blasphemy against the Gunners.
I know if I were an Arsenal supporter from North London, I would find it embarrassing to know such a site existed.
It's just not right, and it reeks of fake Manure supporters.
Thx

So your first post as an Arsenal supporter is an attack on the website? Every post you have made previously was in the World Rivalries forum, where you defend Canada.
May I suggest that, if you don't like our website or our supporters club, you kindly return to the World Rivalries forum and bash the US for being so "un-Canadian".
And I believe that should you ask the posters in this forum who are from London, you would find that both they and the club itself like us just fine, thanks.

I like the US, I just don't think that Arsenal supporters will be too happy to see us north Americans hijacking their club and turning it into some sort of mass marketing machine like Manure.

Well as you've nominated yourself spokesman for us Arsenal supporters I think you should explain yourself .
I hope we do become a big marketing machine, then we'd have money to burn as well.

Unfortunately all the good players that Canada has e.g. Owen Hargreaves, Tomaz Radzinski, etc. either don't play for Canada or aren't allowed to travel across the Atlantic to play for their country.
As a Canadian Arsenal fan . . . I'm quite proud and happy that there is a supporter's club for US & Canadian fans . . . sheesh, don't leave your northern friends out of it!!! I'm looking forward to travelling with fellow Arsenal America members to THOF either this year or next year!!!
Think of it, would you really want America's Team to be Man U?
It would appear Canuck Power suffers from a condition that is known by the technical term, "talking out of your arse."
Dude, you don't dig Arsenal America, that's cool, but do some homework first. If you did you'd know that I write a monthly column for the official Arsenal magazine, that we've been featured in the match day programmes several times, that we took 18 members to Highbury last season and were treated very well and that in general the club is a big supporter of us.
You'd also know that just about everybody here, including several Canadians are members of Arsenal America.
I'm not just a member, I'm the president.
Cheers,

I already thought Arsenal was a marketing machine. ;)
Seriously, CP, sounds like you have some self-esteem issues. Maybe this guy can help you out:

Well, in the interest of not sounding like a hypocrite, I think I've come to the conclusion that only lads and ladies from North London should support Arsenal. Therefore, I will withdraw my support for the Gunners and support my local team, the Toronto Lynx.

I just folded up my Arsenal shirt for the last time, I'm not interested in being a plastic supporter. I don't feel I have the right to support the club, unless I lived at Highbury, maybe for two or three years. You have to earn the right to be considered a true supporter. If we don't all do so now, Arsenal's rep will be damaged forever.
