I called Lucky Baldwins on Wednesday and spoke to an English gentleman. He asked that I call back on Friday so that he could check their satellite guide for the USA/Brazil game.
What concerns me is that the game is being broadcast on Telefutura, which (as far as I know) only has a local LA affiliate. I'm not sure they'll be able to pick that up on satellite.
Hope that helps,
Jon

Does anyone know what channel Galavision/Telefutura is in LA? I called DirectTV and they don't seem to know and I couldn't find anything on-line....

Galavision is 53 in Glendale area with Charter. I have a call in for Telefutura.
Could they MAKE it any easier?
When the ratings come out, this just goes to prove nobody watches soccer in the U.S. ;)

On DirecTV, Galavision is 404. This is the EAST COAST FEED, which means the USA/Turkey game will be broadcast today (tape delayed) at 4pm PACIFIC TIME.
Telefutura is a local LA channel, and only available via DirecTV if you have the LA local channel package. If you do, you'll find it on channel 952. The USA/Brazil game will be shown live at 12 noon on Saturday.
