I was wondering if the riders could ever do something like this. Granted we dont have the same amount of manpower to do something on this scale. I couldnt find to many pictures, and these were the only good ones. But instead of changing colors horizontally by section (like these pictures) could we go vertically by rows? maybe white and blue

Honestly might not be a bad idea for the KC nationally televised game. Let me think about it.

Thoughts from anyone else?

It would be awesome, but we cant even get people to wear blue to every game so coordination could be a bit of an issue.

It's not an issue if you give someone a piece of paper to hold

I'm all for it. I think it looks awesome and makes the crowd get more into it.

they can't take away a piece of paper, like the flag poles. Unless we go on a paper cut massacre. they look kinda big and too bendy to be paper, but i don't know what else they would be made of.

It would be a good idea...in theory. Section 8, who far outnumber us, have tried this before and it didn't work very well.

We are talking about Section 8, the same section that has taken almost 10 years to perfect one chant.

Or coordination on a chant; too many dam individuals.

It's possible, but doing a tifo like this would be very, very tough.

What are you talki....FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE:p

But seriously, I know I've seen attempts by Chitcago and Chivas USA, and I believe DC may have tried, it's too hard to pull off with what we have. I think we should stick to one of our current plans and do this:

have the riders ever thought of that? Like a flag give away. make them smaller with maybe the midnight rider logo or revolution logo on one side then maybe an advertisment, on the other side, to help pay for the flags, then hand them out at a game?

The Revs and Security would probably have a problem with this. They'd find something wrong with it.
Good thought though.

Psssh. Why wear blue its not like we're trying to look like a united supporters section or anything.

Neat idea, but anything on that scale would be up to the team itself to coordinate, not the Riders. While I'm at it, here's the obligatory reminder that the Riders and the Fort are not one and the same.

buy the cards/paper when you get there and the seats fill, pass the up the row, do 3 or 4 people wide, change color, 3-4 more, etc. across.

it would look killer, even if it was just at the start of the game when the players came in and it went to hell after that

there has been a lot of great ideas and enthusiasm, don't let this stuff go idle guys

Exactly. We wouldn't be able to do this without some help from the team. It'd be hard to do this in the Fort as well because how often do we fill up that entire section top-to bottom, as well as the whole Lighthouse end of the stadium.

We should get those people standing and singing before anything else.

Have you started singing yet? Other than in the parking lot:p

its def possible as long as we can will our section up i can figure out a simple design that would work and place the paper on the seats before the game.

A nice little web gem that will turn an image in to a mock-tifo to give you some idea of what it will look like: http://www.madin.jp/ouen/index-e.html

Hope this is of some help.
