so the mets lost (again) in los angeles?

the phils will get oh-so-close then let the NL east slip between their fingers.

In the Spirit of Bo Diaz....C'mon YOU FIGHTINS

At practice yesterday, I mentioned a couple of sites. Here they are:

http://www.101greatgoals.com/
Very addictive site with links to video of goals from Soccer Tournaments around the world. (Currently showing Euro U21s and several 'Best Goal' montages) If you have the time go back into the archives...

http://soccernista.com/
A little bit of everything here. MLS & Int'l covered. Amusing as well. (I hear there may be an SoB feature soon.)

http://www.deadspin.com/
The Sports Blog that all others aspire too. Sometimes rude & raunchy with comments that are funnier than the original posts. The weekend editor is an Arsenal supporter and often writes about soccer. Today he does a post on the UK footy fan and their inferiority complex, linking to this story:

Yet another fantastic piece of writing by Mr. Wells :)

a measure of the phils quality this season happens this weekend (tigers) and this coming week (indians). looks like they'll only pull 1 of 3 from detroit ... top 9, down by 3.

why do i even give a damn? :(
