TOTTENHAM are preparing a bid for hot Crystal Palace prospect Julian Gray.
Spurs monitored the former Arsenal player's progress throughout the season and believe he has the quality necessary to make it in the Premiership.
Manager Glenn Hoddle thinks Gray, who can play on either flank, as an
attacking midfielder or as a striker, would fit into his White Hart Lane plans.
The 23-year-old has not signed a new deal at Selhurst Park, although he has held discussions with chairman Simon Jordan, and the Eagles are resigned to letting him go.
Skillful player with a bad attitude and is injury prone. Had Spurs written all over him all along!
