With the release of the schedule on Thursday, does that effectively end Sheffield United's hopes of winning promotion back into the league??

I don't think there was even ever a remote chance of that happening - a shame too, and hopefully (although not likely) heads will roll over it.

Can you guys help with some lists of preseason friendlies in the Manchester area during the month of July 2007? Going over with son for academy tryouts, and would like to score some tickets to a couple of preseason friendlies close to where we're staying. Noticed ManU is doing the Nike Asian tour so they're pretty much out of the country that month. Was told that over the next couple of weeks more teams will come out with preseason friendly schedules, but for now can't find that many, i.e. Wigan, Bolton, Oldham, ManCity, etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Being that I'm a Wednesday fan, I bloody hope so! :D ;)

Although I wish nothing but the worse for those cheating Clammers!

Arsenal/Chelsea matches scheduled for the same dates as Liverpool/Man United this season (Dec 15 and Mar 22). Very convincingly random...;)
