That's entirely appropriate somehow...
Crap refs, check.
Crap promotion for games (in English, at least), check.
Crap website, check.
Anything else?

Not to defend CONCACAF, but there is www.goldcup.org which provides more current news.

Love the headlines on goldcup.org...
Four lines below (ergo, before) "Guadeloupe looking to make history" is "Guadeloupe makes history."
And my favorite: "Cuba and Panama tie in a good game"
Glad the web editor was satisfied with the quality of play in that one.

Not surprising. At all.
I wonder how much CONCACAF is paying its web development team...and how closely Jack Warner is associated with said web developers.

I'm pretty stoked I can get the England jersey at the CONCACAF store.

This is not too bad of a site. Not surprisingly, there is better/more content on the Spanish version.

I'd prefer "better" than "best" as many of the scenarios for advancement have been wrong as the tournament has progressed.
I love Wikipedia, but sometimes contributors seem more concerned with getting data up quickly than correctly. Sort of like BigSoccer.

From www.goldcup.org:
"The United States claimed the group B title by dispatching El Salvador, 2-0, on Tuesday night at Gillette Stadium."
I know I was a little sleepy, so I must have dreamed those last two goals.

Nice.
The United States claimed the group B title by dispatching El Salvador, 2-0, on Tuesday night at Gillette Stadium.
12/JUN/2007 - DaMarcus Beasley opened the scoring for the United States in the 34th minute. Landon Donovan added the second on the stroke of halftime from the penalty spot after Alfredo Pacheco handled Benny Feilhaber’s cross. Substitute forward Taylor Twellman added a third in the 73rd minute from a Brian Ching ball to make it three, while Beasley grabbed his second in the 90th minute to conclude the scoring.

Their web content person must be a US fan, that's their little homage to our current dominance over Mexico. Quite clever.
