everything's sweet and perfect when Hugo wins....when he losses...the excuses and conspiracies come from left to right..

i'm glad i wasn't able to watch the game today...que verguenza y porqueria de equipo tenemos para perder con Honduras despues de ir ganando el partido!

now let's see what the Hugo followers say

At any point? Like, when else? You still haven't answered my question, by the way.

The point isn't when he's done it before the point is that he's done it now, and somehow its acceptable because "thats cuah," well "thats bullshit."

Ok everything is bad,but lets be patient and wait.Maybe Hugo is getting things done, lets wait a little.
When Greece(a shit team)got Otto Rehangel,in his first games Greece was even shitter. The media wanted his head.Everyone hated him.And after this first games.........he win and win and win....ending winning the Euro Cup,something unbelievable for a team like Greece. And the same guys who wanted to kill him in the start, called him hero after.
Lets be patient a little
I expect a lot more from Hugo

As a mexican, let me say that Im embarassed by the comments posted by many paisanos on these boards....but I applaud your comment, a refreshing

sword of sobriety amidst a Dog-eat-Dog furry.

Now looking at things more detached i can conclude this:

1. It is so easy to sway mexican "football fans", something that frightens me, yet i undertand it, after years of frustration

2. As the greek coach demonstrated, one can not fully predict what the human being is capable of doing....

true, Hugo's team is not playing well

true, his tactics are needy

true, he has relatively little experience

but lets not forget we are dealing with a WINNER.

Winning doesnt come easy, or fast.

It takes time, to learn to adjust and to create.

Why can we not give this man, who demontrated strong will and determination to succeed the benefit of the doubt?

Hugo has been called "indio", "mouse", all sorts of racial slurs, has been underpaid in his teams, not been given due regocnition and other things, yet he overcame these obstacles to become a legend.

If he swam in the gutter and eventually pulled out, why not think he can do it again?

Are we so impatient or ignorant as to condem our greatest living example of success so soon?

take it easy, cangrejos

Its not over, its not like Mexico wont play another match. They still have time to figure out their flaws. i see Mexico showing up against Panama. They just need to work together. Hopefully this loss wont turn them agaisnt each other.

All of the attacks by Honduras were through the left side.
Magallon and Ramoncito were getting owned all game long.
Bravo didn't have a bad game (he didn't miss clear opportunities) because he didn't get one good chance to score.
Blanco facked up big time but during the later stages of the first half i could see the team playing better, they were settling down and maintaining possesion. It could have been a different story...but Oh well, what's done is done, they have to beat Panama now, I hope Hugo doesn't underestimate Panama.

What I can't believe is that most of you losers are wanting Lavolpe back.

It's sad to see most of you like mediocrity. Sad little fellas. :(

Time will tell. Im learning not to get my hopes up with the mexican squad. But im really looking forward to seeing them play like they did against Argentina in the WC. If they would always play like that we would make every other team look silly Even the U.S

La Osvalda Vale Pura Basura Me Vale Si Tiene Experiencia Como Vamos A Saber Si La Hace Con Otros Gran Equipos Si No Juega Y Cuando Si Juega Siempre Gana Y Nunca Le Grita A Su Defensa Pensando Que Es El Mejor Portero Del Mundo Es Un Egoista.

he made a nice stop man give him credit. I blame the poor defense. They gave their forwards alot of room to run. I dont know how you guys can blaim one player. Its team effort. Once mexico finds their rythem everything will be okay. It takes time....

Puro Memo Ochoa Y Si Le Caen Bien A Ustedes Que Necesitamos Jugar A Ochoa Pues El Corona Cual Quier Vato Que No Sea Osvalda Sanchez Por Favor Y Alguien Necesita De Kitarle Las Fotos Encueradas De Hugo Antes Del Proximo Partido Para Que Ya No Sea Titular Porque Es La Unica Razon Que Es Titular Por Eso Todo El Mundo Sabe Que Es Basura

I think you bitches are overreacting. This is only the second game of Hugo in an official tournament and you punks already want to sack him? Pleaseeeeee.

Now, of course we played like crap, but hopefully this serves as an eye-opener to Hugo that some of his choice of players have been fallacious. And most of you are hypocrites. When Hugo first gave out the list for the Gold Cup, most of you were happy with the decision of players, and now you're criticizing because they have not delivered? The players have not delivered, and if the players do not deliver no matter how great of a tactical coach you are, you will get nothing out of it. I mean, did anyone expect Guardado to be manhandled in that manner, or Blanco to lose his coolness? What the hell is Pardo learning in Stuttgart? He has been way below of what was expected of him. Mexico does suffer alot in the back without Marquez, but we know he did not want to play the Gold Cup.

But I believe this is more of an internal problem more than anything else. Did anyone see Salcido in an interview where he said he was dissatisfied with Hugo for something he said to him before he came into the Cuba game? Those are clear signals of tensions inside the group.

Anywho, on Wednesday, God-willingly, we will defeat Panama soundingly with 20 goals by Borgetti (whom most of you will still hate) and everything will come back to normal.

And for those mentioning Lavolpe. ******** off! That idiot has no place in this thread!

Guilty as charged. I am extremely angry, frustrated, and disappointed. I am overreacting, but a lot of the problems in some ways can be attributed to him. Be it the poor player selection, bad tactics, bad subs, etc. Shouldn't internal problems be sorted out by the coach?

It would take a beatdown of at least 3 goals against Panama to restore my faith. He basically has one game to get his act together unless Cuba wins today. As bad as things are now or as bad as they could ever get, I would never want that Dicksucker LaVolpe back as coach.

Capra, your words are good, but because of La Volpe, Hugo probably won't get the time he deserves.

On a positive note, I think its just a matter of time before this team gets it together. They haven't had much time to gel, once that happens they should be fine.

I think that Hugo will be around for that to happen, solely because we can't really get anyone else at this point, at least not until the end of these two tournaments.

One thing we can thank Hugo for is bringing in Nery; who, now, seems to be loved by all around these parts.

Give him some time...(hugo that is)... we gave Lavolpe 4 years, with all Hugo has done for Mexcan soccer...the least we could do for him would be to give him 1.........
