I thought yours truly would start this off early before we go heads up with the big dogs. So whats your look and ideas how El tri should use the line-up against the five time world champions?

Im really glad this tournaments are back to back. But its a little to early for Copa America talk dont you think? If Mexico wins the Copa Oro man .
isn't Mexico one of the national teams that has a good record against Brazil? If Mexico click very well at the end of Copa Oro win or lose they will look great against Brazil. Once Nery, Lozano, Guardado, Pavel and Borgetti click man its going to be great watching them score goals. :D

So in a way your saying this is kind of like a good benefit for the squad to interact with each other before we hit the big tournament in Venezuela?

Yeah, the key for Mexico is to play as a team. When Mexico plays as a whole unit they are a top team. But when they play individually like they have these past games they look like crap.

Well, this isn't a thread about Ecuador, now is it?? Besides, Mexico isn't Ecuador either, is it? Why does everyone bring it up?
I wouldn't expect fans of Mexco to put them in the same category as Ecuador, because they are not, and we all know that, but that is what you are doing while using it in your "replies"...trying to look smart with the "we are still better than Ecuador" argument!! WHO CARES!!! WE ALL KNOW THAT!!! but it seems like the ol' "sore loser" term comes to mind since that is everyones defence on Mexico; semi-soccer power's loss to Honduras, a team that is probably more similar to Ecuador than Ecuador is to Mexico.
You see, for the most part, we can be humble about Ecuador. And we can accept that just because we have reached two consecutive WCs, we are not an elite NT like so many other countries out there. And if we lose to a team like Honduras, we can even accept that too. And if someone points that out, we won't look for that other person's faults and use that as a challenging argument...you are all like 7 year olds..."well my daddy can beat up your daddy!"

Yeah but I bet you if Mexico had a losing record to Ecuador you would be totally blabbing about how Mexico sucks, let me tell you something about Mexico they play to the other teams level example when we face Argentina we play to their level when we play Honduras as you have seen we played to their level and suffered a loss for it.

Mr. Perndog actually neg repped me. I mean what is this about??
I have never seen such a sensitive group on big soccer. I am always on all German forums, English forums, UEFA's, Dortmund's, Ecuador's and everyone is free to comment. Point out the good and the bad. And everyone does...
So Mr. Perndog...where did I troll? When I said that Mexico should first rethink what happened to them v Honduras before you guys start talking about Brazil and then everyone decided to ignore the truth behind my perfectly free right as a big soccer member to make - and they reply by criticizing Ecuador (that is trolling, by the way). Ecuador?? What does that have to do with the thread's subject?? TROLLS...
I really just tried to be as diplomatic as could be yet Perndog has to come strong with his neg rep...the level of maturity continues...I see.

This game is still a ways away. If this is going to be a playground for insults and such, then I will close it and open it back up later when the game is closer.
So advice would be to keep your posts on topic.

Agreed, but this thread happens to be about Mexico...that was my point. You want to critic Ecuador, I see no problem with that - start the thread!
