Sorry if this is a repost. I didnt see anything in other threads about this.

I do not feel like driving from Philadelphia to Giants stadium and I was wondering what train (amtrak) takes me from Philly to Giants stadium (or nearby?

Thanks

Amtrak -> NY Penn Station -> A,C,E Subway uptown -> Port Authority Bus Terminal -> Bus to the Meadowlands

There is no public transportation from Newark despite how obvious such a concept would seem to be

It may be quicker to just get off at the Secaucus stadium & catch a cab to the stadium - about 4 miles.

Amtrak doesn't stop at Secaucus

Then get off at Newark Penn Station & take a cab to Giants Stadium. Maybe $20, but will save a lot of time.

How much time am I going to save if I just take a cab from the Newark Penn Station as oppose to the other way I was told to take?

From Newark Penn station to NY Penn station is an easy 20 minute ride( on NJ transit) so I'll assume 15 for Amtrak.
Walk to the Subway and ride to Port Authority Bus Terminal 10 to 15 if IF the subway is on time and you hustle..Bus ride to stadium..I'll assume 30 minutes, never done this ride myself.

Cab from Newark penn station to Stadium..15 to 20 minutes max if he takes the Turnpike.

These are times I've experience on my own, take into account most games are at 7pm Saturday and the turnpike is light you'll save enough time to compensate the $$ spent on the cab!!

Did you make it to the Gold Cup? I drove through past Newark Penn Station about 6 PM Friday - traffic was all jammed up!
