I've read in a couple of places that there may be a new DP rule next year. A "Donovan Rule" that basically out lines a way for teams to have a "special" third DP.

Donovan rule, eh? Will it be a requirement for the 3rd DP to be scared of competition?

Let me say, even though I give Landy a lot of shit about some of his choices, I love the fact that he hates Mexico. As long as he still has that hatred in him, he is a friend of mine.

I don't get FSC so I had to watch the Copa Oro coverage. One of the things that the anouncers said (that I understood) was that Donovan was the nemisis of Mexico which cracked me up.

:D....LOL...They mentioned he is one of the great of MLS and USMNT, but laughed at the way they mention it like they were pointing out Darth Vader...."And....oh...yes!....That's Lord Darth Vader.....one of the greats of US MNT." :D

washed up may cover Figo if he decides to mail it in but Beckham is playing at a higher level than any player in the world right now. If Beckham can't find someone's head at the end of his cross in LA that doesn't mean he's washed up, it means LA sucks. I've been watching Madrid play since Capello let him back on the squad and I guarantee you that no other player in the world affects games like he does right now. Not KaKa, not Ronaldinho, not C. Ronaldo... no one.

When Beckham agreed to come over here he was in a big time funk everyone thought he was done. I'll admit he's playing on a whole other level now, and its really entertaining to watch. But I don't think it will last.

LA may suck bad enough to screw up his game. You are right on that one. Funny how Barca probably will be defeated by Beckham this year but LA may whip his arse.
